In case you needed your mind blown this evening, there’s a new Chrome plugin called Project Naptha which allows you to select text inside images. To give you an idea:

Project Naptha automatically applies state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms on every image you see while browsing the web.

The result is a seamless and intuitive experience, where you can highlight as well as copy and paste and even edit and translate the text formerly trapped within an image.

Remember when Romney lost the election so somebody created White People Mourning Romney and collected various people crying over Romney’s loss

Still so funny.

The best part (for me) was that I volunteered for the Obama campaign in 2012, so we got to see this as it was happening. Not so much crying, but lots of stunned faces, which tbh was just as enjoyable.
